Special thanks to laxmonster54 & Strife for making this possible..

Lax has let us use his IPB 2.3.6 onto a new host that me and strife did all the work installing and everything last night. The board is working great, without ads, we have full access to every element under the hood.

Now. We have only been open a month and I feel we need to make this choice now or never.

We will have to start over. I know I was talking about converting and such, but since IPB doesn't support the kind of conversion from 1.3 to 2.3 then we need to discuss this whole thing. We would give every member all their posts, and in the board stats on the index it would say "Total posts: 5,000.." or whatever our current number was when we moved.

IPB 2.3.6 offers a lot of more features like our own image hosting, more appealing skins, easier navigation for YOU. We also wouldn't have a higher power like jcink.

Apparently the co.nr host is retarded and says it is powered by vBulletin, when in fact if you look at the bottom of the board it says IP.Board 2.3.3


all of these are on IPB 2.3.6. Its just so much more customizable and its what most serious gfx forums are using, and it has an UNLIMITED amount of POTENTIAL. Seeing as we want to widen our horizon every chance we can get, then making this move would probably be the best. We can make the posts back, we can hopefully get every member to move. THE SHOUTBOX WILL AUTO REFRESH. It will also have a time on it so you don't try to talk to a person thinking they are still there.

The navigation for the user is so much better because it lets you design your profile, your sig place, your mini profile and everything.

So if we don't move now we may regret this. We haven't wasted the past month, we have just realized that sG is going ot be VERY successful.

Some serious Matters[everyone read!!!]

As our one month anniversary has come up we have some stuff to discuss.

We see a lot of potential in sG. Now here is a few things..

We will be buying a .com/.net domain in this upcoming month.

I have also found a way to legally have ipb 2.x on our forum whilst keeping all our posts and info and etc, thanks to strife for backing it up and lax for offering his license.

Now, here is where you need to let me know what you think..

Do we keep the name SublimeGFX or use a diff name like ReactionFX? so it would either be

or
reactionfx.net
